    Rochester Ginger Drink is the original and one of the leading non alcoholic ginger drinks in the United Kingdom. The recipe dates back to circa 1870s during Dickensian times near the historic town of Rochester, in Kent, south east of England. Originally made by the Great Grandmother of the current artisan master blender, the secret recipe has been handed down over three generations.

    Today, Rochester Ginger is enjoyed by many discerning drinkers internationally from the United Kingdom, Europe, through to Asia - Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates and now Australia.


    Tasting Notes:
    Rochester Ginger in its neat state has typical spicy ginger flavours, as it should, though tastes slightly more clean and lighter in spice than expected. The medium level of sweetness offers a long, smooth satisfying palate that returns you to the glass moments later. It also offers a medium level of overall warmth to your mouth that is not overbearing and reminds you of the flavours you just experienced.

    The secret to enjoying this drink is to bring all the areas of your tongue into play. So take a sip, get this to the back, sides and underneath of your tongue – savour the flavour. Now it will warm you as you consume it. Only Rochester Ginger drinks do this, reaching parts others simply cannot reach. Enjoy the satisfying kick that lingers – or as we like to say it, with the kick of 2 very angry mules!

    Many people have said that Rochester Ginger is probably the best alternative or substitute to alcohol. In fact many actually find it hard to believe its non alcoholic.


    How to drink: Rochester Ginger Drink is ideal to drink it neat, on the rocks or with your favourite drinks to enjoy or as an overall health remedy.

    Cool:
    Infuse with your favourite fresh juice such as apple, pineapple, orange, carrot and celery.
    Create a delicious punch with your favourite fresh juice.
    Splash into mineral water, tonic water, or any other cool drinks.
    Add to any cocktail and premium spirits such as Frangelico, Galliano Amaretto or Brandy.

    Hot:
    Mix with a hot cup of water or tea for an uplifting hot beverage such as     Jasmine Green tea.
    Combine with hot water, lemon juice or powder, and honey to make a soothing tonic for colds and flu type symptoms, sore throats or if you just need an immune and energy boost.

    Food:
    A treat - drizzle over ice cream and strawberries, or a fresh fruit salad.
    Pour over a hot Sticky Date Pudding - tried and tested by the Organic Buyers Group - truly YUM!
    Add to tarts, apple pies and any other favourite dishes such as a seaweed salad, tofu or salad dressing.
