    This organic raw honey is as close to eating honey straight from the hive as can be! To retain its natural flavours and health benefits, no heat or pasteurisation or filtration has been applied at any stage of production - as pure and natural as honey can be, packed full of natural goodness!
     
    Extracted and produced at low temperature, this delicious honey retains its natural flavours and health properties. Raw honey is naturally rich in antioxidants, minerals, vitamins, enzymes, phytonutrients and prebiotic properties. Commercial processing methods which use heat and pasteurisation destroy most of this natural goodness.
     
    Grown in pristine areas of NSW, the beehives to produce our delicious raw organic honey are specifically placed in isolated areas away from any type of contamination (golf courses, agricultural areas, heavy traffic areas and landfills).

    Note: Organic raw honey will naturally candy over time. Only truly raw honey will crystallise so readily! To liquefy again, simply stand in warm water and stir.

    How can honey be certified organic?
    To be officially certified, hives must be made from certified organic materials and exposed to organic environments and organic beekeeping techniques only in the preparation of the honey. Sites are regularly audited to meet a rigorous checklist of requirements to reach certification, including not being within a 5km radius of all normal farms and agricultural land that don’t use organic methods. From the native flora the honey is extracted from, to the diet of the bees all must be balanced and certified organic.

    From Honest To Goodness: We pack a wide range of natural food products on shared equipment including nuts, seeds, grains and cereals. This includes sesame, peanuts, soy and gluten. While we do our best to avoid any kind of cross contamination this can occasionally occur and any of our products may contain traces of these. Honest to Goodness also stocks a wide variety of products packed externally and there is the possibility that suppliers could change the formulation or substitute ingredients at any time, without notice. Customers concerned with food allergies need to be aware of this risk.
