A hot and spicy curry paste, Geo Organics Thai Red curry paste is dairy free, has no artificial colours, approved by the UK vegan society, and good for anyone who needs a gluten free diet.
 
Different to a simmer sauce, curry pastes are little jars of concentrated spices which can be used to marinate meat, or by adding tinned tomatoes or coconut cream will make a delicious curry.  Curry pastes tend to be stronger and improve with age as the spices infuse with the other ingredients. Usually a curry paste, due its concentrated nature, will be good for multiple meals. Like all curry pastes, Geo-Organics curry pastes are simple to use, for the Indian curries you just need an onion, tinned tomatoes, your choice of tofu or meat and leave to simmer until done.
 
How To Enjoy:
  • Heat 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil in a frying pan over a high heat
  • Add a medium sliced onion and 2 crushed garlic cloves and fry for 2-3 minutes to soften.
  • Add 500g, vegetables of your choice and fry until lightly browned.
  • Stir in 1/2 jar of curry paste and cook for a few seconds
  • Add 150ml of coconut milk, and 2 chopped red chilli's (optional), and then 1 tablespoon brown sugar.
  • Bring to the boil then reduce the heat, and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Stir in 1 large red pepper, 125 ml vegetable stock, and 2 tablespoon lime juice.
  • Cover and simmer for 10 minutes
  • Serve with jasmine rice and garnish with coriander.
