Exception: Maya Chai appeals to those who enjoy a vibrant, spicy brew with more robust depth than tea.

Certified Organic Maya Chai Teeccino Caffeine Free Herbal Coffee (30g, travel sachets)

Maya Chai: A stimulating spike of spicy top notes and the creaminess of Mexican vanilla accents rich, roasted, full-bodied flavour.

It's this simple: I love Chai and I love Teeccino. Why not put them together? I've created many caffeine-free chais with tea-like bases using rooibos. They're wonderful, but then comes the moment when you want something richer, darker, more potent. Who says chai can't be made with a roasted, robust body brewed like coffee and layered with spices? Add sufficient hot milk and a true chai emerges to confound both tea and coffee drinkers alike. I say rules are made to be transcended and Maya Chai rises above our limitations to merge the best of both worlds.

Coffee lovers are attracted to Teeccino’s full-bodied, dark roasted flavour and its nutritious health benefits. Teeccino allows coffee drinkers to keep their cherished coffee ritual with all the enjoyment and satisfaction of a freshly brewed cup!

Coffee drinkers can blend Teeccino with coffee to reduce caffeine and acidity or drink Teeccino in the afternoon and evening. People who are motivated by health reasons to quit coffee can kick the caffeine habit using Teeccino.
Kids also love Teeccino as a healthy alternative to caffeinated drinks like cola and hot chocolate!
Pregnant women can drink Teeccino with no worries - caffeine free.

Teeccino herbal coffee tastes so much like coffee that people think there must be coffee in it! Unlike decaf coffee that still contains caffeine and has high acidity, there has not been any chemical processing or extraction of any Teeccino ingredient because they are all naturally caffeine free.

More on the Herbs Used in Herbal Coffee - Ingredients:

Roasted Carob Pods: Valued since biblical times as a nutritious, naturally sweet food, carob pods are often used today as a healthy substitute for chocolate. Carob's anti-diarrhea properties were discovered by a Spanish physician who observed that children of the poorer class ate large quantities of carob pods and had less digestive problems than children of the wealthy, even though their living conditions were less hygienic. Studies since have confirmed carob's effectiveness in resolving infantile diarrhea safely. Carob is high in calcium and Vitamin A and is rich in dietary fibre (26%) and polyphenols (21%) - those same anti-oxidant compounds found in tea that are receiving so much media attention.

Roasted Chicory Root: Used for more than 20 centuries, chicory was first roasted and drunk as a coffee substitute during Napoleon's Continental Blockade in 1806. Chicory is naturally high in potassium, calcium, and inulin, sometimes also called FOS, the fructooligosaccharde that helps to restore the optimal ecology of the gastrointestinal tract by feeding the beneficial bacteria. Chicory has a stimulating effect on digestion, elimination and helps the body metabolize milk by breaking the butter fat into smaller particles that are easier to digest. Chicory is popular in France combined with coffee to reduce caffeine and coffee's acidity.

Roasted Barley: The nutritious grain of the Egyptians and Romans, barley is reputed to help build strength and vitality. Barley gruel, the staple of the Tibetan diet, keeps Tibetans thriving in the highest altitudes. Barley is naturally high in potassium that has an alkaline effect in the body. Barley contains tocotrienol, a nutrient that helps lower cholesterol. Roasted barley contributes a full-bodied, nutty flavour to herbal coffee.

Figs: This sweet fruit has been enjoyed for over 5,000 years for its nutritious and slightly laxative properties. Figs have anti-carcinogenic activity and they are high in potassium. Figs yield a sweet, caramel note to herbal coffee. Figs are used in Turkey to impart their rich flavour to coffee.

Dates: The fruit of the desert, dates develop their sweet, plump and shiny flesh in the hot dry sun while thriving on deep hidden reserves of water. Deliciously sweet, dates are gently laxative and contain digestive enzymes, which help promote good digestion. Dates contribute their honey-like flavour to herbal coffee.

Almonds: Almonds are nutritiously dense. They contain a full range of B vitamins and significant amounts of Vitamin E, magnesium, calcium, copper, zinc, potassium, and iron. Almonds have been shown in studies to help reduce cholesterol when eaten daily. A number of factors probably influence this effect including the almond's fatty acid profile, the fibre content, the vitamin and mineral content and its plant sterols that may help limit cholesterol absorption. Teeccino's almonds are roasted to a deep golden brown.
