    Its as easy as filling up your bottle for purified alkaline water. The Little Penguin Filtration Cartridge - recommended to change every 2 months for maximum alkalisation and filteration.
     
     
    About the Little Penguin Replacement Filter:

    How does it work?
    The Little Penguin Glass filters use an advanced 4 stage process to remove impurities in tap water:
     
    1. The first layer of the filter is a PPF membrane – which is responsible for filtering out small particles like sand, rust, and oil.
    2. The second stage of filtration involves a Silver Activated Carbon media– which captures and holds onto contaminants in the water as they come into contact with the filter. This carbon media removes unpleasant tastes and odour- producing chemicals such as chlorine.
    3. The third stage involves the water passing through a Calcium Ionised Clay media - which releases activated calcium ions in the water and increases the alkalinity to a pH of 8.0 – 8.5.
    4. The fourth and final stage of filtration involves water passing through another PPF filter membrane, to ensure that any residual particles are effectively removed.

    Note: The water filtration system used in these bottles does not use oxidised aluminium.

    Instructions to replace filter:
    1. Pull off the top cover, and then unscrew the filter holder.
    2. Remove existing filter and discard.
    3. Before use, hand-wash Little Penguin with warm water or ecobud ozonated water.
    4. Do not put in dishwasher. Do not wash filter.
    5. With clean hands, insert the filter firmly into the filter holder.
    6. Fill the little penguin with tap water.
    7. Screw the filter holder. Tighten firmly.
    8. To pre-condition the filter, squeeze one full bottle of water through and discard.
    9. Don’t worry about black dust in the first rinse. It is only carbon from the filter.
    10. Enjoy your filtered Alkaline Water for next two (2) months.
