Amaranth: Highly nutritious with no starches or vegetable gums are added to it. High in protein, fibre, calcium, iron, potassium, phosphorus, and vitamins A and C.

Amaranth seed is an extremely nutritious grain, gluten free, high in protein (15-18%) and all eight essential amino acids, including lysine and methionine, not frequently found in grains.

Amaranth was a dietary staple of the pre-Columbian Aztec empire, who believed it had supernatural powers and incorporated it into their religious ceremonies. This ancient crop was "lost" for hundreds of years, and only since the Sixties, following its rediscovery, has it been grown commercially from wild varieties.

Quinoa: A complete protein, high in iron, magnesium, potassium, zinc and B vitamins.

Organic Quinoa pronounced 'keen-wa' is a gluten-free grain that is rich in essential amino acids, vitamin B2, E and A, and contains more iron than any other grain.
