This Mandarin & Gubinge Creamy Mylk Chocolate is made with Amazonico Criollo, Certified Organic Raw Cacao (46%) from Satipo, Peru, infused with mandarin essential oil and sweetened with Organic Evaporated Coconut Nectar, our chocolate is made in Melbourne.
 
Loving Earth's Chocolate is made by us with Raw Cacao from bean to bar here in Melbourne. This means that our chocolate has up to twice as many antioxidants as conventional chocolate.
 
We use Organic Evaporated Coconut Nectar (a natural, low GI sweetener) instead of cane sugar to create this delicious chocolate treat.
 
Deep in Peru, a small community of families grow the Amazonico Criollo cacao we use in this chocolate, a cacao full of the wild flavours of the Amazon rainforest. We add shavings of our Loving Earth Dark Chocolate in this rich blend to ensure its decadent creamy texture.

Compostable wrapper: Every Loving Earth chocolate bar comes to you in a compostable plant-based inner wrapper so that we can have a smaller impact on the environment. We have chosen a non GMO plant based material from a renewable source instead of simply going with conventional, plastic. The boxes, which contain our wrapped chocolate bars, are made from 97% recycled post-consumer cardboard and are printed with vegetable inks.

1) Magnesium for the Heart and Brain
Raw cacao is the primary dietary source of magnesium, the most deficient mineral in western civilisation. Magnesium is the most important mineral for a healthy functioning heart. It also plays a key role in producing energy for the neurons in the brain from glucose. So when there is an abundance of magnesium the brain works with clarity and focus.
 
2) Mood elevators and Anti-depressants
Cacao is a great source of serotonin, dopamine, anandamide and phenylethylamine (PEA), four well-studied neurotransmitters, which are associated with feelings of well-being and help alleviate depression. Both PEA and Anandamide (the bliss chemical) are found in abundance in the brains of happy people and are particularly released when we are feeling happy. Both of these neurotransmitters are present in raw cacao in large enough quantities to affect the brain and lift our moods. Cacao also contains monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAO Inhibitors) that keep neurotransmitters in the bloodstream for longer without being broken down.
