Australian! Slightly more nutty, buttery and softer than Brown Linseed with the same nutritional value as Brown Flaxseed.

Flaxseed, also known as Linseed, is a natural source of essential fatty acids including omega-3 and omega-6.

Whole Flaxseed is the ideal way to keep flaxseed/linseed. Ground flaxseed and flaxseed oil should be kept in the refrigerator and has a shorter life. Whole flaxseed can be easily ground into a meal to sprinkle in your favourite dishes.

Some nutritional benefits of flaxseed:
    * important source of polyunsatured fatty acids (Omega-3)
    * Magnesium
    * Zinc
    * Dietary fibre
    * Linolenic acid
    * Protein
    * Mucilage
    * Phytosterols
    * Lignans and more.

Whole - In a dry, dark cupboard away from direct sunlight.
