    If you like a typical medium rye style bread, try this one! Not too heavy, yet still with a lovely rye flavour. A delicious loaf. Rye is a low fat, low gluten cereal grain, not a wheat, originating from Europe. The whole grain is used to keep a high level of nutrients. An excellent source of soluble fibre, magnesium, iron, calcium, zinc, B vitamins and vitamin E.

    Ingredients: Australian Certified organic stoneground whole wheat flour, filtered water, certified organic whole rye flour, certified organic sunflower oil, psyllium husk, lecithin and Himalayan pink rock salt.
     
    Why are Bill's Breads so incredibly good?
    The flours used in this yeast-free Certified Organic bread are stoneground, a slower, older method of milling which avoids overheating and dehydration. The wheat germ, bran and nutrients are retained, also giving a wonderful nutty flavour. The slower 18-hour fermentation sourdough process allows the dough to rise and the beneficial lactobacilli to fully develop. This helps digestion and produces that unique flavour that can be obtained no other way.
