    BIO-CURCUMIN 95% pure organic curcumin may be the  answer for Inflamatory Bowel Disease. Curcumin (diferuloylmethane), a yellow pigment in the spice turmeric, has been used for centuries as a treatment for inflammatory diseases.

    Extensive research within the past two decades has shown that curcumin mediates its anti-inflammatory effects through the down regulation of inflammatory transcription factors (such as nuclear factor kB), enzymes (such as cyclooxygenase 2 and 5 lipoxygenase) and cytokines (such as tumor necrosis factor, interleukin 1 and interleukin 6). Because of the crucial role of inflammation in most chronic diseases, the potential of curcumin has been examined in neoplastic, neurological, cardiovascular, pulmonary and metabolic diseases. Inflammatory Bowel Disease has been linked with higher stroke and heart attack risk.
     
     
    Usage:
    The Biogrape curcumin product is ultra potent and super assimible. It is 95% Pure refined organic curcumin, which has been ultra fine pulverised for optimal assimilation by the body. We recommend only ½ a teaspoon as the product is strong.

    1/2 metric teaspoon = 2 x 500mg curcumin about 1000mg which is much more then a standard 6mg curcumin tablet.

    Suggested 3 weeks of continual use initially for therapeutic use and then maintenance.We recommend you take the product at night with a smoothie or yoghurt or if with water please drink a lot of water and swish your mouth so you swallow it all.
